Subject and Predicate — Exclamatory Sentences Lesson No.2 (Lecture No. 3)

What have we learnt:- Exclamatory sentences express strong feelings and end with exclamation mark (!). *********************** Steps to identify the subject and the predicate part in the exclamatory sentence :- 1) Convert the sentence into statement. 2) Identify the subject. 3) The part containing the verb or the remaining part is the predicate part. *********************** Example : What a beautiful dress it is ! -- It is a( very) beautiful dress. Subject - It Predicate - remaining part *************************† Exercise Q) Identify the subject and the predicate part from the following sentences. 1) How beautiful she is ! 2) How lovely is night ! 3) What a delicious dish this is ! 4) How awkwardly he manages his sword ! 5) What a piece of work is man !
