Críticas al Infinito. El infinito en un junco - Irene Vallejo
Criticize of infinity. It is not another video that romanticizes it because it talks about books. This essay has great fame and diffusion; Despite this, I will risk presenting the reflections that it suggested (even if they are not so popular). The writer presents three narrative levels that I think she was unable to articulate adequately, since she tries to present a story set at the time (historical novel?), her particular experiences and curious facts about the books. It seems that she tries to do the same as Gaarder's "Sophie's World", from her own particular experience, but falls far short and with a capricious, arbitrary and disjointed development. As an essay, Theilard de Chardin's "The Human Phenomenon" presents a journey through humanity with a common thread and clearer ideas. As for presenting curious facts about the invention of books, Santiago Posteguillo in the Scipio and Trajan trilogies manages to do it in a more entertaining way. In general, I find the work very ambitious, with great publicity, but a content that leaves a disappointing taste, especially when a bibliophile, for being a book lover, is recommended this work as a great milestone but it is partial, too biased in order to highlight romantic perspectives or historical assessments of progress. Very well said by Steve Jobs, the dots connect very easily when we look back... and here they combine all the perspectives and it is not clear for what purpose (so it remains a display of fatuous erudition). I invite you to see the criticisms that I raise and leave me your comments on them. It is worth saying that my criticism is pure envy, or as someone told me in another review that I am on drugs. 00:00 Intro 03:40 Erudition and literary bias 06:45 Vision of the future and progress 08:12 Oral tradition and romanticization 09:43 Other perspectives not contemplated 13:27 Library of Alexandria 13:40 Confusion of causes and consequences 15:04 Economic Outlook 17:58 General criticism 19:08 Unfounded Criticism of Socrates 20:54 Criticism of reading aloud
