Rafnar 1100 RIB test drive in rough conditions

During the severe storms Eunice, Dudley and Franklin in February, we offered a test drive to experienced rib drivers in the Rafnar 1100. A Rib (Rigid Inflatable Boat) for professional, harbor, emergency, military and other services related to providing safety at sea. With strong gusts up to 140 km/h, a Code Red weather alarm was applied for the coastal regions in The Netherlands, and so IJmuiden. According to the official wave buoy, waves up to almost 4 meters high rolled into the IJmuiden harbor from the North Sea.
