TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has uncovered alleged irregularities committed by Dadan Hindayana and his associates in the appointment of partner foundations for the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) program. The Director of Investigation at Jampidsus, Syarief Sulaiman, stated that the appointed foundations allegedly did not meet the requirements for partners. However, they still passed verification and received assignments after interference from the suspects. Investigators discovered that these foundations were connected to the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, and his two former deputies, Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung. Through these appointments, the foundations allegedly received incentives worth billions of rupiah daily. Furthermore, the three suspects are also suspected of interfering in the procurement of goods and services within the BGN. As a result, the preparation of the Terms of Reference (TOR) was allegedly not based on actual needs in the field. Investigators also discovered alleged price inflation in several procurement projects, potentially causing state losses and hampering the implementation of the MBG program. Some of the projects under scrutiny included the procurement of 21,801 vehicles worth approximately IDR 1 trillion, 32,000 pairs of shoes, approximately 31,000 tablets, and 5,400 75-inch televisions. All procurements allegedly violated regulations and were conducted using price markups. For this case, Dadan, Sony, and Lodewyk were charged under Articles 603 and 604 in conjunction with Article 20 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP).
