"MassafraEstate 2026": presentato il cartellone estivo

Yesterday, the "MassafraEstate 2026" program was officially presented to the press, a series of summer events that this year adopts the evocative subtitle "La Dolce Vita Massafrese." As Mayor Giancarla Zaccaro emphasized in his opening remarks, the project is not simply a series of events, but a true narrative of identity aimed at presenting a colorful city capable of attracting and welcoming tourists directly into its beating heart: the historic center. The rich program, which includes more than 40 events spread over the coming months, will range across a broad spectrum, from music to festivals, from film festivals to theater, from dance to the revival of Carnival. Isabella Tagliente, Councilor for Culture, Tourism, and Entertainment, emphasized how this program is the direct result of a shared cultural vision and the extraordinary participatory energy of the community. The program is structured around four main themes: tradition, identity (through the historic Palio and the White Nights, featuring art, magic, and entertainment), promotion (with established events such as the International Accordion Festival, Vicoli Corti, and the Teatro popolare in corto), and finally, inclusion, thanks to widespread events that will take place in everyday settings, seaside locations, and spiritual spaces to reach all age groups. The official debut of the festival is scheduled for this evening, Friday, June 26, at 10:00 PM in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, with the highly anticipated musical show "Nostalgia 90." To facilitate maximum accessibility to information for residents and visitors, the Administration has digitized the entire agenda: the complete program can be downloaded directly via an institutional QR code. When scanned with a smartphone camera, it redirects to a link to save the logistical details for each event.
