The Word of God for you Today: Faith for a Miracle!

📆 Sunday 14TH JUNE 2026 FAITH FOR A MIRACLE 🖊 Snr Pastor Elia Sipaia 📌 Luke 7.11-17 ➡️ In this passage, Luke draws attention to the mother - a widow with such tragedy who not only lost her husband but also lost her only son! Before anyone says a word, Jesus notices her. This is one of the most beautiful descriptions of Jesus in the Gospels. He does not remain distant from human suffering. He is moved by it ❤️ ➡️ Many people can see our outward circumstances without truly seeing us. Jesus sees deeper. He sees the tears behind the smile, the anxiety behind the confidence, the loneliness behind the activity. This reminds us that God is aware of our struggles even before we find words to pray 🙌 ➡️ This compassion of Jesus leads to action as He has authority of death - commanding life into the dead. This miracle points beyond itself. It is a sign that Jesus is more than a prophet. He is the Lord of life! The people recognize God's power and begin glorifying Him 🙌 ➡️ This story teaches us to see the heart of Jesus—full of compassion and full of authority! When Jesus encounters death, life prevails. When Jesus encounters despair, hope emerges. When Jesus encounters sorrow, comfort comes. And because Christ is risen, we can live with confidence that the final victory belongs not to death but to Him 🙏❤️
