Mountain Biking Lizard Trail Laguna Beach, California

This is the Lizard Trail loop in Laguna Beach, California. On this loop we started from our house in Laguna then rode up to the Dartmoor trailhead. The Dartmoor gate instantly brings you to a pretty difficult climb that ultimately leads to bommer ridge. We do this route regularly when we want a bit of a longer ride. It takes around 2 hours to complete this loop (that's long for us lol), and its just under 20 miles. We love the Lizard loop because it's a great workout with a handful of climbs and really fun & divers downhill sections. From speedy wide open fire roads to gritty rock crawling sections, the Lizard loop and its corresponding trails offers a great ride. On this mountain bike loop we hit Lizard & linked it to Serano trail which is also a really fun single track ride. This video was filmed on a Saturday in Laguna Beach, the weather was perfect 75 degrees; so it was definitely busy.
