How Do I Save A Large Hoya From Root Rot? | Rescuing Hoya Fitchii

On a recent video, I transferred this Hoya fitchii from pon to an organic mix. Whether it did not like the unpotting, or I kept the new organic mix too damp, but the hoya went downhill fast. All the leaves dramatically dehydrated until they were nothing but curled whisps of their former selves. Clearly I needed to take care of this plant ASAP, but it got put to the side until I recovered from my knee surgery. So the ASAP date was today. Watch as I show you how I evaluate, disassemble, and treat this fitchii to bring it back from what may look like abject disaster. Please check out the end of the video to see what the plant looks like right now. It's not a perfect recovery, but it's a positive one!
