Since its inception, it has been primarily focused on the conservation of the plot of land, which is a very small farm. This one-hectare farm is also dedicated to promoting and reviving concepts such as food sovereignty, producing one's own food on the plot, and living in harmony with nature and the environment. In recent years, we ventured into and strengthened an economic activity that we suddenly identified as agritourism. Initially, we started selling small surplus harvest products like tangerines, honey, avocados, and worm castings. Then we added snacks, and after that, we improved and began offering a kind of country restaurant service. We created a dish called "pescado a la guadugua" (fish cooked in guadua bamboo), which is one of the most exotic and original items on Mama Lulu's farm. Later, we added another element: lodging in a native inn. That's the term we use for our property, a beautiful building designed and constructed with guadua bamboo, of our own design, and it functions as lodging.
