Sir Henry Segrave Land Speed Record Sunbeam Returns To Southport

Preparations are underway to mark the centenary of Sir Henry Segrave’s incredible 152mph World Land Speed Record run along the Lancashire coastline in 1926. The legendary single‑seater Sunbeam Tiger is set to return once again to Southport Beach, commemorating the last time the world record was set by a conventional circuit‑racing car rather than a purpose‑built land speed machine.
