Doctor Who Reviews Ep. 258 - The Deadly Assassin (w/Sean Dillon)

Our subject this time is The Deadly Assassin, a Fourth Doctor story set entirely on Gallifrey. The Doctor must battle the machinations of an old enemy and try to prevent an assassination plot, and he must do it without any companions by his side. This story introduced a lot of the now-standard lore about Gallifrey and the Time Lords, including the Regeneration limit, and also inadvertently set the show on its slow path toward cancellation. Also, everyone on the podcast takes turns expressing their dislike of a certain 'moral crusader' Sean Dillon's novel, The Tower Through The Trees, can be purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/Tower-Through-...
