An Interview with Violet Jessop
Courtesy of and many thanks to Jake Billingham, I am delighted to share the remastered version of John Maxtone Graham's interview featuring Miss Unsinkable herself - Violet Jessop. This interview was recorded in c. 1970 while Graham was doing research for his book, The Only Way to Cross (published in 1972). This is the only recording of Violet sharing her story on how she survived the sinking of the HMHS Britannic. #history #hmhsbritannic #violetjessop #interview #worldwar1 #maritime #maritimehistory #HistoryInsideANutShell #history #HistoryInsideANutshell #historychannel
