The Huge Surprise at the 2026 Newark Motorhome Show!

We have dreamed of owning a motorhome for years, so we headed down to the East Midlands Motorhome & Caravan Show 2026 to see if we could find our perfect fit. As full-time workers with two dogs and a strict layout checklist (we want a comfortable rainy-day lounge and a great bathroom!), the prices of modern vans absolutely shocked us. Is spending more on a leisure vehicle than the cost of our first house really worth it? We looked at everything from the Auto-Trail Imala 615 and Auto-Sleepers Warwick XL to high-end van conversions—but the biggest surprise of the day came out of the blue.
