Staying in Caher Castle gives you a unique opportunity to feel that you are the king or queen of your own castle. Fantastic experience! Peter, the owner, is a brilliant craftsman who restored this castle to the best possible condition. The castle has underfloor heating, two huge fireplaces, a fully functional kitchen and good internet connection, but no TV. This is not a standard luxury castle stay, this is a real medieval experience for these who love history, castles and won't complain about cobwebs or lack of hot water. When Niall and I arrived to the castle, we received very warm welcome by Peter. We loved the castle from the first moment we stepped in. Peter kindly introduced the castle to us with some historical periods. We think It is important to know about the history of the castle we are staying in. We were privileged to meet Peter who did an amazing work on the castle. His spirit is there with other spirits over 600 years and it makes a special atmosphere in the castle.
