Dua Remaja Wonosobo Ditemukan Meninggal di Dasar Jurang Gunung Bismo, Evakuasi Hingga Malam

The evacuation process for two teenagers from Krinjing Village, Watumalang District, Wonosobo Regency, who were found dead in the Mount Bismo area was still ongoing as of Sunday evening (July 12, 2026). The two victims, Arifin Nurohmat, also known as Apin, and Yufaidin, also known as Idin, were found at the bottom of a ravine more than 284 meters deep. The difficult terrain meant that it took the joint team several hours to bring the bodies to the Sembrani Command Post. The joint search and rescue operation had previously been carried out for seven days and was extended for three days. However, by the official close of the operation on Saturday (July 11, 2026), the two teenagers had not been found. As of Sunday evening at around 9:30 PM WIB, the joint team had successfully retrieved the two victims from the ravine. The process then continued with lowering the bodies to the Sembrani Command Post.
