In this video, we discuss Prompt Engineering. We examine the fundamental components of a prompt, zero-shot and few-shot approaches, context length and efficiency, persona usage, output formatting, and prompt decomposition. We also touch upon security risks such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and training data extraction, and defense strategies against them. In the rest of the lesson, using a Python notebook, prompt engineering is presented not just as the practice of "writing good prompts," but as an engineering component that needs to be tested and measured throughout the application development process.
