At the Negative Emissions Summit in Brussels, Frank Obrist, founder and CEO of Obrist Group, took the stage for an Exclusive Partner Spotlight on the group's approach to carbon-negative energy. He walked through how Obrist captures CO₂ directly from the atmosphere and turns it into Sub Zero Methanol — a liquid, storable, CO₂-neutral fuel — while permanently removing the excess carbon as solid graphite (cSink®). These technologies underpin Obrist's vision of large-scale "gigaplants" in sun-rich regions, producing affordable green methanol for mobility, aviation, and the chemical industry, while taking more CO₂ out of the atmosphere than is ever released.
