Yes24 https://www.yes24.com/Product/Goods/1... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The real title of this video is "Groupthink Commonalities of Internet Extremism." Like the previous video, the title was simply changed to fit the style of each community. The commonalities mentioned in this video also appear later in the video, but are similar to "groupthink." In this comment, I'll show you the characteristics of groupthink identified by Irving Janis. The illusion of infallibility - we never make mistakes. The illusion of rationalization - we attempt collective self-justification. The illusion of morality - we are morally superior. The stereotyped attitude toward the enemy - everyone else is in on it. Conformity pressure - we ignore internal criticism. Self-censorship - we become cautious with our words due to conformity pressure. The illusion of unanimity - silence is considered consent. Self-protection, group sentinel - we block out external information. These results in: incomplete investigation of alternatives. incomplete investigation of objectives. failure to prioritize risks investigated. failure to re-evaluate previously rejected alternatives. poor information search. gathering information about specific biases. failure to recognize the random occurrences. In other words, groupthink is a shortcut for otherwise intelligent individuals to collectively become stupid and make poor decisions. In the next video... let's discuss DC Inside, a site that synthesizes all these issues. As of 2021, we are experiencing the greatest impact of DC Inside in history. Thank you for reading the comments!
