For the base I used cardboard. I made a cone out of it, filled the middle with paper, and sealed the bottom with cardboard. Glued it to a wooden board. I made a door out of wooden coffee sticks and cardboard. I glued them to the base. I made a canopy over the door from bark. The Christmas tree was decorated with New Year's toys and artificial Christmas tree branches.
