I was called up for mandatory military service in the army. I had to report on July 27, 1987, at the Álvarez de Sotomayor Military Barracks in Viator (Almería). In this video, I'll tell you a bit about the train journey to Almería. I'll also tell you a bit about my time at the Álvarez de Sotomayor Barracks, including a few anecdotes. Then I'll give you a brief summary of the tests we had to take to join the GOE II "Santa Fe" in Granada. After being accepted, I'll show you the final talk with the GOE Captain, and my signing, without hesitation. And to finish this chapter, I'll show you the transfer by truck to the Alférez Rubio Moscoso "Padul" Military Camp in Granada. I'll also show you some souvenirs.
