Hiking to Rowley’s Hut Ruins in Namadgi

Join me on a hike through Namadgi National Park, starting at Rendezvous Creek on a foggy, still morning that gave way to clear skies and a stunning high meadow surrounded by mountains. I set out to find the remains of Rowley’s Hut, a pioneer hut that sadly burned down in 2003. After a scenic trek, I discovered all that’s left — a quiet pile of bricks marking where the hut once stood. It’s a peaceful walk through history, with beautiful views and a touch of mystery.
