As an African traveler, I was invited into local homes, learned how families cook their meals, saw coffee beans growing right outside a house, enjoyed homemade coffee, and shared a meal with a local family. Later, I explored Nepal's nightlife and tried banana lassi for the very first time! This was one of the most authentic cultural experiences I've had while traveling in Nepal.
