On May 22, 2026, at Tham Kong Yia Shrine in Trang Province, the working group of the Trang Outstanding: Independent Learning City Based on Chinese Cultural Capital (EP2) project participated in the birthday celebration of Tham Kong Yia, which was held from May 20-25, 2026. There were Chinese opera performances throughout the event, and on May 24, 2026, a vegetarian feast was held for devotees. The working group also surveyed and collected data on an "ancient incense burner bearing the royal monogram 'JPR'" with a Yiyang style design, written in ancient Chinese script (Zhuan Shu). It is believed to have been a royal gift during the reign of King Rama VI and is considered a valuable antique. The information will be compiled and documented for future dissemination.
