France’s FDI Frigate: Inside Naval Group’s New-Generation Digital Warship

France’s FDI frigate — Frégate de Défense et d’Intervention — is one of the most important new-generation warship programmes in Europe. Designed by Naval Group for the French Navy and export customers, the FDI is not simply a smaller version of a larger frigate.
