2021 High School Training Tape - Fouls at the Snap
This high school football officials training tape goes over the basic mechanics of football referees for fouls at the snap. The fouls reviewed on this tape are false start, offside, illegal motion, illegal shift, illegal formation, and delay of game on defense. The false starts in question are cases where the player times the snap but is quicker than the rest of the players. The plays used in this video come from the WPIAL (District 7) in Western Pennsylvania during the 2020 playoff football season and use NFHS mechanics and rules.
