Vega is the new large district in Haninge city and is located in the northwestern part of Haninge municipality. An important local hub, with a new commuter rail station and bus terminal. Several schools and a multi-activity center are also planned here. The detailed plans for the new district are being implemented right now and the district is being expanded - which will enable Haninge to grow by 10,000 inhabitants. Facts: ✅ Vega station is located along the Nynäsbanan between Skogås and Handen stations. ✅ The travel time between Vega and Stockholm City is approximately 24 minutes. ✅ The station is adapted so that everyone can ride along, among other things the platform is at the same height as the floor of the train and the walkways are carefully designed to make it easier for those with a visual impairment. ✅ There will be manned barriers and a kiosk at the station.
