Thruxton Fast and scary part 1 - My Race weekend

So my race weekend starts on the Friday, since we have had the camper van we try to get to the circuit the day before and get a spot in the paddock and with any luck get the car to scruteneering . This is my first time racing at Thruxton which quite righty calls itself the fastest circuit in the UK. There were 20 of us Screamers entered and we had been given permission to run with open exhaust. I still ran with a silencer attached because the engine had been set up on the dyno with it fitted but we have been given permission to run for the rest of the year with open pipes so I may be persuaded!!! I had a fantastic weekend at a brilliant circuit competing against some great people. The racing was wheel to wheel proper racing with respect for each other in some wonderful cars.
