REVISTA NAVAL A LA ESCUADRA DE 1984. (Por Ernesto Paredes)

NAVAL REVIEW OF THE 1984 SQUADRON.... For those who crewed the ships of the 1984 Squadron, there is no doubt that the Naval Review held off the central coast filled us with emotion as we paid our respects to the then Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Navy, Admiral José Toribio Merino Castro. Later, the ships set sail to carry out tactical exercises off the central coast. Sea Cat Missile launching exercises were carried out, shooting at surface targets, air attacks with naval aircraft, Logo Maneuvers, and finally paying their respects at sea. There is no doubt that it is part of the history of those of us who crewed the ships of the Squadron that year. All of these units were part of the history of the Bicentennial Navy, as were their crew members that year. This is a historical video, which was originally recorded and edited by the Chilean Navy's Directorate of Training (DIA). These videos were offered for sale internally to those interested. These recordings were made on VHS cassettes at that time. Today, we have re-edited and digitized it to share with all "The Old Sea Wolves", active and retired, without forgetting its creators and editors from the Directorate of Training of the Chilean Navy, known by the acronym DIA. I hope you enjoy these seafaring memories.
