Visiting Cancale - Sampling its world-renowned oysters - France

We reach the end of our April 2025 Road Trip and enjoy a relaxed day in Cancale and St Malo. Cancale sits on the shallow Bay of St Michael and is known for its amazing seafood. Oysters from the beds just metres away are sold direct by the producers at incredibly cheap prices. They could not be fresher and we indulged ourselves with a dozen each! Later we return to St Malo for a last night enjoying some more of the produce of the local waters before readying ourselves to cross the Channel back to the UK. Our crossing on Brittany Ferries was pleasant but spoiled a little by a chill breeze which made it less comfortable than we had hoped.
