All-New 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 review // Will you miss the V8?
This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 Cabriolet, luxury convertible. We are in Marbella, Spain driving the 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 Cabriolet, doesn’t it look great? It’s a perfect location to drive this beautiful convertible. It’s powered by a 3L turbocharged inline-6 with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, it’s matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission with 443 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. In overboost for 10 seconds up to 443 lb-ft of torque, standard AWD. Premium fuel is required. There is an embargo on driving impressions until 10/20. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 is a 4-passenger sports car, it’s nice to have that rear seat making it much more versatile whether you want to put passengers or extra stuff in the rear. It has some great technology including a standard 11.9” touchscreen that features power tilting from 15 to 40 degrees that prevents light reflections when the top is open. The third generation MBUX system has been added and a 12.3” digital driver. Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto is also a standard feature. It comes with some cool features including AIRCAP and AIRSCARF making this convertible great for all year driving. AIRCAP has a wind deflector that can be extended around 2.4” at the touch of a button with a mesh on the upper frame of the windscreen and automatic wind deflector between the head restraints in the rear. AIRSCARF feels like a scarf warming your neck, it is integrated into the backrests of the front seats and blows warm air from the air nozzles in the head restraints. The nozzles can be swiveled up and down a total of 36 degrees allowing passengers of all heights to enjoy this feature. Features in the interior include, a standard 11.9” touchscreen that can power tilt 15 – 40 degrees. This prevents light reflections on the screen when the top is open. Check out photos 4 and 5, the first photo shows the reflection on the screen but when I tilt the screen to a different angle the reflection is gone. The screen is also tilted towards to the driver making it easy to access. The power roof can open and close in just 20 seconds up to speeds of 60 km/h, 37 mph. The roof is offered in three colours, black is standard, red and grey are optional. This a 4-passenger sports car and the rear seats lay flat, so if you want to slide larger items in the car when you are not carrying passengers, it makes the vehicle a little more versatile. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 is powered by a 3L turbocharged inline-6 with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, it’s matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission with 443 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque.
