What they don't talk about in those fancy motorcycle videos is the weather, money, roads, and people in New York. It's unvarnished, just as it is. I'm not discouraging anyone from buying a motorcycle. I ride 100-150 miles every day myself and wouldn't trade it for anything. But there are some things you should know before you sign the papers at the dealership. This video is my personal list of things no one talked to me about: from the real cost of gear to surviving Manhattan traffic and unexpected encounters on Brighton Beach. I capture New York from the saddle of a motorcycle. It's as it is—through the eyes of a videographer and a person who lives here.
