In this session organized by the Marketing and Communication Committee of CCI France Argentine, Sebastián Visotsky introduces the main concepts of behavioral economics and shows how understanding people's actual behavior allows for the design of better sales, marketing, and communication strategies. Throughout the talk, practical cases and experiments are presented that explain why our decisions are influenced by cognitive biases, heuristics, and the context in which we choose, as well as concrete tools for applying this knowledge in companies of all sizes. About the speaker Sebastián Visotsky holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, a Master's degree in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), is the Director of R&D at Córdoba Management School (Blas Pascal University), and an external advisor to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on insurance and risk management. He has developed projects for governments and international companies, applying behavioral economics methodologies to improve decision-making processes and organizational results.
