Fly fishing for mullet - In this video I target mullet on the fly in flat calm conditions. So I decided to dust off my flyfishing setup and head down to the beach for some fly fishing for mullet. With absolutely no wind and the tide on the flood I made my way down the beach early morning to flick out some bread pattern flies hoping to find a few fish whilst feeding them bread offerings too. As the tide rises up the beach the mullet seem to be not so far behind as they look to move into St Aubins harbour. The original plan was to use bread flies whilst getting them feeding on some torn up floating bread offerings but I was also equipped with my little box of other mullet flies which did come in handy as you will see.
