The Atlanta rapper was in LA to escape for a bit but, like any hard working artist, ended up in a few studios here (because sometimes it’s harder not to work). I’ll be honest: in my head with my own bias, I thought he might be a “fashion rapper." I feared he'd be snobby or overly egotistical. I was pleasantly proven wrong. Rome is jovial, warm, thoughtful, skilled and humble. He’s a true student of the game, an artist not afraid to experiment, and most importantly a rapper striving to make his music as open and personal as it can be.
