#SubwayOuting #Cheonggyecheon I took a leisurely walk along Cheonggyecheon, a clear waterway that cuts through the heart of downtown Seoul. There are a total of 22 bridges spanning Cheonggyecheon, but today we visited 18, ranging from 'Mojeongyo' in front of Cheonggye Plaza to 'Hwanghakgyo,' which is overflowing with analog romance! Deep and colorful stories were hidden beneath those stone paths that I had carelessly passed by. From 'Gwangtongyo,' steeped in King Taejong Yi Bang-won's bitter and brutal desire for revenge against his stepmother, to 'Yeongdogyo,' imbued with the heart-wrenching tears of King Danjong and Queen Jeongsun, and 'Jeon Tae-il Bridge,' flowing with the pain of the times. My actual legs were completely drained from completing the walk across all 18 bridges, but my heart feels as though it has been thoroughly cleansed. @SubwayOuting ✔Today's Walking Course: Mojeongyo ~ Hwanghakgyo (Total 18 bridges) ✔Tip: After the walk, I also recommend browsing vintage items at the Seoul Folk Market near Hwanghakgyo! ✔ To reach Cheonggye Plaza, take subway line 9 from Gwanghwamun Station or exit 4 from City Hall Station. Walk from there.
