Río Negro fortalece la recuperación de una especie clave de sus riberas

🌳 Río Negro is making progress in restoring native willow trees in its irrigated valleys through a collaborative effort that includes technical surveys, field visits, and the identification of remaining specimens in urban and riverside areas. 📍 The actions, carried out during March in areas such as Isla Jordán, Puerto Viejo, and the banks of the Río Negro, allowed for the evaluation of environmental conditions for future plantings adapted to the surroundings. 🇦🇷 The project also includes educational and awareness-raising activities to promote the conservation of this key species for the ecological balance and natural heritage of Río Negro, with the participation of the Municipality of Fernández Oro, the NGO Guardianes del Río (Guardians of the River), and the technical team of the Native Willow Project.
