【006】一ノ峯｜Mt. Ichinomine Hiking in Japan

2026年6月7日（日）8:08スタート 標高　858m 距離　約4.5km前後（駐車場から山頂往復） 駐車場　一ノ峯・二ノ峯登山口駐車場（無料） 下山後温泉　今回は行けませんでした。 熊本県阿蘇市にある一ノ峯。 以前から写真や動画で見ていましたが、 実際に目の前に立つと想像以上の景色が広がっていました。 この日は朝から登山スタート。 登山道は比較的歩きやすいものの、 山頂へ近づくにつれて少しずつ傾斜が増していきます。 振り返るたびに広がる阿蘇の景色。 普段登っている東海地方の山々とはまったく違う、 どこまでも続く草原の景色に思わず足を止めてしまいました。 そして山頂付近で待っていたのが、 一ノ峯最大の魅力とも言える絶景。 緑の稜線が波のように連なり、 阿蘇ならではの雄大な風景が広がっています。 まるで海外の草原地帯に来たかのような景色。 日本にもこんな場所があるのかと驚かされました。 登山の達成感はもちろんですが、 歩いている時間そのものが楽しい。 そんな山でした。 愛知県を中心に登山を続けていますが、 一ノ峯はこれまで登った山の中でも特に印象に残る景色の一つになりました。 また季節を変えて、 今度は違う表情の阿蘇を見に来たいと思います。 登頂まで。 Until the Summit ーーーーーーーーーー Sunday, June 7, 2026 – 8:08 AM Start Elevation: 858m Distance: Approx. 4.5km round trip from the parking area to the summit and back Parking: Free parking area at the Ichinomine / Ninomine Trailhead Post-Hike Hot Spring: I wasn’t able to visit a hot spring this time. Mt. Ichinomine is located in Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. I had seen photos and videos of this mountain before, but standing there in person was far more impressive than I expected. The hike began in the morning. The trail is relatively easy to follow, though the slope gradually becomes steeper as you approach the summit. With every step, the magnificent scenery of Aso unfolds behind you. Unlike the mountains I usually hike in the Tokai region, vast grasslands stretch endlessly across the landscape. Near the summit, the true highlight of Mt. Ichinomine reveals itself. Rolling green ridgelines extend into the distance, creating one of the most beautiful views in Aso. At times, it felt less like Japan and more like a distant grassland somewhere overseas. The scenery was simply breathtaking. While reaching the summit was rewarding, the journey itself was just as enjoyable. Among all the mountains I have climbed so far, Mt. Ichinomine is one of the most memorable. I hope to return someday, perhaps in a different season, to experience another side of Aso. 登頂まで。 Until the Summit.
