Time Crisis 1 - No Damage (PS1 PAL) 10'14"03

Here's a new video on the Playstation 1 version of Time Crisis 1, taking no damage and now reducing the time down to 10'14. It's been 5 years since I uploaded my last run on the PAL version of Time Crisis 1, which I know is slower than the NTSC versions. It is slower because all versions draw every frame, however, the gameplay runs at 25 FPS, and NTSC 30 FPS. So that makes the game fall 5 frames behind every second. This makes it easier to shoot multiple enemies in a faster in-game time way, and faster to shoot anything that needs multiple hits, especially the 3-1 helicopter. However, it's not all easier, if you are used to the NTSC versions or the Arcade version of Time Crisis 1, you have to adjust your timings, and you end up shooting too early very often. Also, you have to wait longer to reload, and can take up valuable time if you don't leave it long enough. Because of the game speed differences, it feels unfair to compare NTSC and PAL times, and neither version can be compared to the Arcade. There are parts on all versions that are different from the arcade, the forklift truck on 1-1, and that 3-1 helicopter being big differences. The final section of the Stage 2 boss area is a pain as sometimes you just take damage on the first couple of frames, on the arcade it never connects. The console versions like to drop inputs too, most often on the first gameplay frame that you come out of cover, so you lose a bullet but nothing comes out, and it's really frustrating! Also, the Arcade runs at 60 FPS and 640x480. The PS1 versions actually run at 60/50 FPS, but the gameplay is at 30/25 FPS, so that is why you don't always see the screen flash when recording at 30 FPS.
