Alaia Story- 2007 Part One
The alaia surfboard has become popular around the world. In early 2005 Tom and Jon Wegener were the first to rediscover how good the alaia is and started making them from paulownia wood. They documented their journey because they thought it was cool and may catch on some day. This is part one of the Alaia story which captured the first two years of the alaia adventure.
