Valdecasas is trying to see what will happen to Europe's defense system, given the talk of a 150 billion euro loan to buy weaponry: artillery, drones, missiles, and cyberattacks. The US is withdrawing its troops from Europe, and Germany is ceasing its financial contributions to NATO, but it's not leaving. "Europe continues to depend on the US." And now Europe is increasing its GDP spending to replace American troops, but that money will be spent on the US military-industrial complex, Valdecasas reiterated.
