Riding Scotland’s Highest Road in February (Mistakes Were Made)

They call the A93 the "Snow Road" for a reason. We took the bikes up the highest road in Scotland—the Cairnwell Pass—in the dead of February. Between the freezing temperatures, a dropped bike, and a lost wallet, it wasn't exactly a smooth run, but the views were worth every shivering mile. Riding from Blairgowrie to Braemar in winter is always a gamble. We hit the Glenshee Ski Centre at full throttle just to keep moving, explored some 1715 Jacobite history at the roadside, and found out exactly why a heated vest is the best investment a biker can make. If you're thinking of touring the Cairngorms or riding the A93 during the winter months, here is the reality of the "Snow Road" in February. I mentioned the Picasso at the Fife Arms Hotel in the video—if you want to see what a multi-million pound masterpiece looks like in the middle of the Highlands, I’ve posted the photos over on my Instagram.
