東京夜散歩 一橋学園駅の周辺をぶらぶら

Filmed: September 27, 2025 This was my first time visiting the area around Hitotsubashi-Gakuen Station, and I was honestly surprised. Even though it’s in Tokyo, it has such a strong retro downtown vibe. In particular, the shopping street called “Gakuen Ichibangai” at the beginning of the video really matched my personal taste. Places like Joyful Minowa or Kirakira Tachibana Shopping Street often get featured on TV and in the media, but I’d never seen this area highlighted as an old-school shopping street before, so it felt like a fresh discovery. Bustling, lively markets that recall the Showa era are wonderful, but when it comes to a more laid-back, easygoing retro atmosphere, this might just be one of the best spots in Tokyo. While some parts have been rebuilt into apartment buildings, the area hasn’t been overly taken over by chain stores, and it even feels as if time has stopped somewhere around the late Showa to early Heisei era. If you enjoy strolling through neighborhoods with a down-to-earth retro mood, I highly recommend checking this place out.
