Hello, this is Kate. This video is a vlog capturing my ordinary daily life. While editing the video, I suddenly realized that the day I am spending right now is the "life of balancing work and childcare" that I had dreamed of so much before I quit my job. However, back when I was just vaguely dreaming, I don't think I had any idea how this reality actually worked. When I was a working mom, I could focus entirely on work during the nine hours I was tied to the office. On relatively relaxed days, I could catch my breath, and after work, I could forget about company business and focus on my daily life—a perfect "on and off" lifestyle. However, now that I am a self-employed working mom with flexible hours (plus the burden of my husband working overtime every day), I have to handle full-time childcare, from getting ready for daycare to playing after pickup and putting the kids to bed. Naturally, with my work hours becoming scarce, I have to work intensely, valuing every single minute and second. Since work I couldn't finish during the day often continues all night after the kids are out, the concept of "going home" has effectively disappeared. Back when I was just dreaming, I really didn't know that my daily life would be a non-stop jumble of childcare and work all day long. Haha. Since I am not bound by time, I am truly grateful and satisfied that I can fully share precious moments of daily life with my child. However, paradoxically, precisely because I am not tied to a schedule, my daily life keeps rolling on without a single minute or second of rest. Physically, I sometimes feel suffocated, but I am still fiercely living out my share of life these days...! That is why I haven't been able to properly execute the content I planned at the beginning of the year (household budgeting, book recommendations), and the upload intervals for my daily life videos are getting longer and longer. I was able to run my business entirely thanks to this channel, so I will work hard without getting lazy! Fighting!
