Every resident of Uralsk has probably heard mysterious stories about the city's historic district—many of them based on real events. Take, for example, the story of the network of underground passages. Old-timers have long told tales of another city existing underground, complete with its own passages, halls, and rooms. But why they were dug or how they were used, no one knows for sure. Sounds pretty cool, right? We decided to put together our own episode about this, telling everything we know about it, and simultaneously showcasing the city itself—especially Uralsk's ancient architecture: some of it no longer exists, but much remains, and its beauty can still be seen today. And yes, this is the channel that the "They're Coming for Us" team @Zanamiviehali decided to launch in a test format.
