"I work every day in my cellblock. I don't know why they're taking me if I haven't done anything. Likewise, those who owe nothing fear nothing, and my conscience is clear because I haven't harmed anyone," said Cristian Ezequiel, better known as "El Tanque." "I don't know why they're taking me if I haven't done anything to anyone. I was at home, that motorcycle is mine. I was assembling it, but it's mine," claimed John Espinales, accused of committing robbery with intimidation in the capital. The detainees They are Eliezer Sánchez, 23, alias "El Trompudo," Cristian Ezequiel Ramos García, 18, alias "El Tanque," Manuel Antonio Sánchez Altamirano, 32, alias "Melico," and John Michael Espinales Vásquez, 20. The officers seized two motorcycles, which they allegedly used to carry out their crimes. They were sent to District I of the National Police, where they will remain in pretrial detention pending trial by a competent judge. For the crime of robbery with intimidation, they face a sentence ranging from 3 to 5 years in prison.
