[In Loving Memory of Kamea] ♡

I don't even know where to begin. It's taken me a few days to finish this. It was a lot harder than I expected. What an immeasurable loss. My heart goes out to all of Kamea's trainers who gave her the best possible life. After hearing about her passing, this song immediately popped into my head. A lullaby that I heard often throughout my childhood. It seemed very fitting, since Kamea was one of the first killer whale pregnancies I "followed". I remember the anticipation leading up to her birth, and being so excited to see her major milestones throughout her life. I feel so lucky that I was able to see Kamea on several different occasions and to even meet her during a tour in 2022. Rest in peace, Kamea. I will never forget you ♡ - All footage belongs to me.
