Hello 😄 and thank you for reading! Late last year, over the New Year's holiday, I took a two-day, one-night trip to Kushimoto and Shirahama in Wakayama Prefecture. Since Kushimoto and Shirahama are famous beach resorts, I was worried they might be deserted, but winter is the season for delicious fish and there are plenty of great hot springs, so I highly recommend visiting Shirahama in winter. Tons of fish!! 10:58 PM - Splash in the hot springs at "Toretore no Yu" 12:00 AM - Go see the "Shirahama Illuminations" at night 1:41 AM - Look down at "Toretore Village" at night 1:09 PM - This is what we had for dinner tonight. Lots of fresh food 1:11 PM - Morning of the second day. Enjoying "Shirahama Pudding" 1:46 PM - Eating bread at "Key Terrace." The infinity footbath there is amazing. 1:28 PM - Picking up souvenirs at "Toretore Market" 1:14 PM - If you're in Wakayama, this is something you'll want to try.
