BACH Goldberg Suite Aria-Var 26-Var 27-Aria da capo WALTER ABT Convento San Francisco Granada

The Convent of San Francisco in Granada, Nicaragua, is one of the oldest and most important colonial buildings in Central America and a symbol of the country’s historical and cultural heritage. The building founded in 1529 by Franciscan friars, is Granada’s main museum, renowned for its architectural beauty and its valuable collection of pre-Columbian art, as well as exhibitions of folk art, religious art, primitivist art, urban history and the culture of Granada. For the muted pizzicato sound on the guitar in Variations 26 and 27, Walter plays not with plucked alternating finger strokes but, in true jazz style, with a pick in his right hand, so that he can mute the strings with the edge of his hand. guitar: Antonio Marín Montero 2000 strings: SAVAREZ premium & Bass 6CB640R amp: AER classic
