Ultimate Gilamon Build - The Most Advanced RC I’ve Ever Built

Today’s build is the Axial Gilamon AXP8 2.2, and without question, this is the most capable and advanced RC crawler I have ever built. I started by maxing out every factory Gilamon option, then pushed the platform even further with custom additions and advanced control systems. The end result is a crawler that gives me unreal levels of precision and control — the kind of setup that fundamentally changes how you approach lines on the rocks. This build features: • 4-Wheel Steering (4WS) for unmatched maneuverability • Front & rear dig for precision line control • Cutting brakes on both axles • Front AND rear winches for recovery and technical climbs I am still learning how to implement all of these features and having a blast re-learning how to drive this rig!
