𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱. Eight years and R2.5 billion later, Port Elizabeth’s (Gqeberha) elaborate Integrated Transport Plan is stagnant. The idea was that buses and minibuses, bought for the 2010 Soccer World Cup to ferry tourists, would later be used in the city’s transport network.
